Prior to managing Strategic Communications at Emerson Human Capital –a San Francisco based consulting firm that works with Fortune 500 companies on their change management, marketing and public relations challenges, Mark Webster ran the Congressional offices of U.S. Rep. Tammy Baldwin (D-Wisconsin) and U.S. Rep. Les Aspin and worked in the State Senate for several lawmakers.

 

Jason Rae, from Rice Lake, Wisconsin, is a student at Marquette University who serves as a member of the Democratic National Committee and as a member of the Wisconsin Governor's Commission on the United Nations.

 

A Madisonian for over 60 years, Kay Heggestad, M.D., has been an active member of PFLAG since 1994 and joined the board of FW in 2007 to further work for the civil rights of GLBT people and hopes that her son will be able to marry while she is still able to tap dance at his wedding.

 

Dick Wagner is a retired Senior Budget and Management Analyst from the State Of Wisconsin Department of Administration, and as a former Chair of the Dane County Board of Supervisors, he was one of the first out elected officials in the country in the early 1980s.

 

Ruth Irvings is a Milwaukee attorney who concentrates her practice in lifetime and estate planning for same-sex and other nonmarital couples.

 

Aaron Sherer is the Executive Director of the Paine Art Center and Gardensin Oshkosh, Wisconsin.  Aaron lives in Oshkosh with his partner Paul Smith and their son Dustin.

 

Ginny Finn lives in Milwaukee and is President of Athlone Consulting LLC, which specializes in strategic services for charities and private foundations. She is a graduate of Coe College, Purdue University and the University of Wisconsin Law School.

 

Michele Perreault is an attorney with DeWitt Ross & Stevens SC. Her statewide practice focuses on family law, including domestic partnership, adoption, and related issues.

 

Barbara Snell, of Oregon Wisconsin is employed as a health care administrator. She has been involved with non-profit groups for over 20 years.

 

F. M. "Mike" Fitzpatrick is the bilingual case manager at the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin (ARCW) in Green Bay and the news editor of Quest, the statewide LGBT news and entertainment magazine.

 

Tamara Packard practices labor and employment law with the Madison law firm Cullen Weston Pines & Bach LLP. Tamara has lived in Madison since 1991 and has been engaged to her partner, Renee, since July 2004.

 

Joanne L. Holland, CPA lives in Madison, Wisconsin with her long-time partner. Joanne's career has been dedicated for over 15 years to the not-for-profit sector and she currently works as the Chief Financial Officer for a community health center.
